Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) has signed an MoU with Asharqia Chamber Training Center (Asharqia Chamber) in Dammam, KSA in the presence of BIBF Assistant Director & Head of Centre for Insurance, Mr. Husain Al Ajmi and Secretary General of Asharqia Chamber, Mr. Abdulrahman Al Wabel.

The purpose of the MoU is for BIBF to provide its regionally acclaimed classroom-based Insurance Diploma Programmes to the Eastern Province, in collaboration with Asharqia Chamber. This will further bridge the qualifications gap in a sector that is increasingly demanding a certified workforce.

Asharqia has also been approved as an examination centre for BIBF's distance learning qualifications – The Professional Insurance Certificate (PIC) & the Professional Insurance Diploma (PID). This brings the number of regionally approved examination centres for the PIC & PID Programme to 14.
