Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA Level I) Preparatory Course

Description

The CFA institute is a global membership organisation that awards the CFA designation. It leads the investment industry by setting the highest standards of ethics and professional excellence and vigorously advocating fair and transparent capital markets.

In order to earn the CFA designation, one has to pass rigorous examinations conducted at three different levels. These exams are conducted in June every year. The Level I exam is also conducted in December in selected test centres.

About the CFA qualification

A highly sought-after US professional qualification for investment professionals

•

A 3-year programme of study, requiring about 1,000 hours of study over the 3 years

•

A programme where candidates must hold a 4 years bachelor's degree or 4 years of qualified work experience

•

A qualification where the CFA charter is awarded after completing the 3 levels and meeting the 3-year work experience requirement

•

A qualification where the designation Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) can be used after your name upon meeting

•

A qualification where no exemptions are given for other professional qualifications. All potential candidates must register with the CFA institute. Registration fees increase depending on registration date

BIBF Training Programme

BIBF will conduct the CFA Level I preparatory course for the December Level I exam. Each candidate, after registering with the CFA institute, will attend an intensive training course for 6 months at BIBF. BIBF is not responsible for the candidate's registration with the CFA institute for the CFA Level I examination. The classes will be structured to include teaching, discussion, practice tests and review of the tests for each topic of CFA-I.
