ACI – The Financial Markets Association is the largest professional body for dealers and back office personnel in the wholesale financial markets in over 70 countries.
ACI's education programme provides a globally acknowledged, portable, professional qualification that enhances career prospects, improves job performance, and sets benchmarks within the industry.
BIBF is pleased to announce the 2013 ACI Dealing Certificate (DC) and ACI Diploma programmes.
These qualifications are internationally recognised and are essential for those who wish to make a career in a Treasury Dealing Room. They are also of considerable value to candidates from associated areas such as Investment Banking, Treasury Operations and senior level Compliance and Risk management.
This year the ACI DC and the ACI Diploma will both run over a period of 6 weeks, twice a week in the afternoons from 3 pm to 6 pm.
This is to enable participants with timing constraints to continue their normal work routine and pursue their studies in a more relaxed time frame. The course content is all encompassing, with examples and mock examinations.
Participants will be able to schedule their initial studies for the ACI Dealing Certificate, sit the formal examination, and will have sufficient time to register for the ACI Diploma course.
ACI Dealing Certificate is a foundation programme that allows candidates to acquire a working knowledge of the structure and operation of the major foreign exchange and money markets and their core products, and the basic skills required for competent participation, including the ability to apply the fundamental mathematics used in these markets.
Candidates will also learn to apply the ACI's code of conduct "The Model Code" in their institution.
The ACI Diploma builds on the ACI Dealing Certificate and the ACI Operation Certificate and is designed to ensure that candidates acquire a superior theoretical and practical knowledge of the foreign exchange and money markets, their related instruments, and the linkages that exist between those markets and the practice of risk management.
