What are the requirements for admission?

Do I need the GMAT exam?
Only if you have less than 5 years of work experience; otherwise a Math Test sent by DePaul is administered

www.mba.com and learn more about the exam and register on line in the country of your choice and time and date of your choice; pay by credit card and try to score in the 500 range.
Do I need TOEFL or IELTS?
Yes unless you have studied in an English speaking university then you are exempted from it.
Do you offer scholarships?
The current tuition includes a reduction in the tuition by DePaul.
Can I be exempted from certain courses if I have taken these in another University? Can I apply for a waiver?
You may be exempted if you fill a Waiver Form and attach the syllabus of the course and transcript showing the grade earned. DePaul has the right to grant or deny that request. All waivers need to be submitted before the start of the programme.
Do I need years of experience in order to apply? How many?
It is advised that you have a minimum of 2 years Full-time work experience before applying to the degree of your choice. DePaul prefers 5 years of experience.
If I have CPA or CFA, do I still need the GMAT and TOEFL?
No you may be exempted from that based on the grade earned in that exam.
Can I take courses at my own pace?
No you cannot for this is a cohort system and you are required to start and end with all accepted students.
Is it possible to drop a course due to work travel or special circumstances? Then how can one retake it?
You may drop a course in case of emergency or work travel, but Academic Coordinator and DePaul administrator must be informed by email no later than one day before start of the course; otherwise you will be charged for the course and earn a grade of “F”. You may retake the course with the next cohort or online if available.
Do you have the instalment system for paying tuition?
Yes you may pay in 4 instalments for the MBA and in 3 instalments for the other degrees.
Can I graduate in Chicago?
Yes you are a DePaul student and you are entitled to attend the graduation ceremony in Chicago.
What is the cut-off grade average to graduate with Distinction?
The cut-off grade is 3.6.
