Professional Programmes

Leadership Development Programme

Darden Executive Education has partnered with the Institute of Banking in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance to design a four-week executive development programme for outstanding managers from the Gulf region. The Leadership Development Programme faculty team has created an impactful programme based on action-oriented learning experiences and participant-centred classroom discussions. Through case study analysis, participants will explore actual business problems and solutions that will lead them to develop new ways of thinking about their own challenges. Learning team and class discussions offer an opportunity to practice influencing others, understanding differing viewpoints, and thinking strategically.

The Programme consists of three parts in three locations:

Part 1: a six day program in Manama, Bahrain

Part 2: three weeks at the Darden School of Business in
Charlottesville, VA, USA

Part 3: one day in the Institute of Banking in Riyadh

Special Features

Simulations – incorporated to test new strategies and actively practice leadership skills.
Leadership Practices Inventory – a 360-degree assessment and personalised coaching sessions will provide each participant with a view of their leadership style and clear goals for improvement. A follow-up assessment is provided six months later to measure new leadership skills attained
