About the Centre

The Centre originated at BIBF in 2004 and was critical in realising BIBF’s drive towards providing high quality international degrees to those in the financial sector, to support their professional development.

The Centre has strategic partnerships with reputable and accredited international universities in both the United States and the United Kingdom. We offer undergraduate diplomas and bachelor degrees validated by the University of Wales, and in the postgraduate arena, we offer a variety of Masters in conjunction with DePaul University in Chicago.

For the Centre, quality over quantity is the key to our success. We make no secret of the high entry standards into our programmes, and this has cultivated an atmosphere of demand that the financial sector recognises. As a result, those that finish with us are extremely high achievers who make a definite difference within their workplace.

In the area of executive development, the BIBF-Darden Institute of Banking (SA) Leadership Programme was launched in late 2009 as a logical replacement for the long-serving Gulf Executive Development Programme (GEDP).
